Fire Safety Servicing in Kent

Fire Safety Legislation requires the Responsible Person to ensure that the servicing and commissioning of fire extinguishers is undertaken by a “competent person” – as defined in Health and Safety Regulations and Accepted Codes of Practice.

Stable Fire Protection engineers have undergone extensive training and have qualifications to demonstrate this, together with the added benefit of being registered technicians under BAFE scheme ST104 your compliance with the above requirements can be fully demonstrated.

Equipped with a substantial range of servicing tools, service consumables and spare parts we can maintain equipment that is supplied by the majority of manufacturers.

£10M of public and products liability insurance is provided, and for your further peace of mind the vital element of efficacy (failure to operate) cover is also included.

We don’t just do servicing!

Our staff fire training courses are fantastic value and there is plenty of great feedback from those attending!

This course covers the theory and classes of fire, together with the range of fire extinguishing methods. Delivered in a classroom environment with powerpoint illustrations, and an outside session with actual fire extinguisher use.

Following participation delegates will be able to demonstrate theoretical knowledge and practical use in extinguishing small fires with the correct extinguishing medium, and will be awarded a certificate of completion.

This course is run for those who already understand the basic principles of fire and extinguishing methods and want to develop that knowledge further.  It focuses on fire development and behaviours, and the roles and responsibilities of a Fire Warden.

Those attending will be engaged in open discussions with the aid of powerpoint and video clips, followed by actual use of fire extinguishers, and on completion certificates will be provided to delegates.

Courses can be delivered on site for up to ten delegates, or at local venues in Ashford, Maidstone and Hastings.

Course duration is approximately three hours.

For consideration of the environment our courses do not involve live fires.

Under Fire and Health & Safety regulations all staff should receive basic fire training and certain members should be trained and appointed as Fire Wardens.
